From 2009-2014 I served as the science journalist in residence at UBC's School of Journalism, where I helped to teach a graduate-level course in science journalism.
I also often participate in media training classes for scientists (inlcuding the Leopold Leadership programme and COMPASS training), and give talks about science journalism (in particular a lecture called 'Behind the scenes at Nature').
